She didn’t go home off work, stayed in office and reprint the data and the report.
It was 7:30; the dim light from the general manager’s office still on, she was not the only one stay in company over work time.
Had knew the importance of the report, he knocked at the door of his office.
“Come in” from the deep voice, it seemed he knew who knocked the door.
His annoyed appearance didn’t change, he was still angry with her.
She presented the data and the report to him.
But his appearance didn’t turn any better, looked more annoyed.
She didn’t say a word, waiting for his roaring at her.
“You had placed the data on my desk, why you didn’t say it out when I asked you came to my office this evening?”
She was surprised, she knew Lance would blame her, but she didn’t know he would blame her for this. He had got the data he wants? If it’s true, why he was still so annoyed?
“What do you want to present to me this time?”
“Nothing, if you had got it, it’s no use.”
Lance took over the papers and found it’s the data he required, he had blamed her for he thought she didn’t finish her work, but he find it was under the files he put there after lunch, he was the one who made mistake and shouted at her angrily, but she said nothing and reprint it to him, it made him more angry, she shouldn’t stoop to compromise like this,
“Next time, if it isn’t your fault, you should speak it out, understand.”
“I will.”
It really funny, lance was angry for she didn’t reason with him, he’s so angry for this? Is this they way he showed his concern for her? But in such a way! He is so special.
She stayed very late in the office till he off work at about 9:00, neaten the office for him.
That night, she thought many about him; perhaps he is not as cold as he looked.
Lonely in a big city cold like this, it’s feel better to knew someone nearby is not cold, though he couldn’t be said to be good to her.
She found lance worked very late everyday. He didn’t often shout at him. Sometimes, but not often, she worked late in office with him; it has gradually become her custom. By the night, staying in the office, looking at the dim tread light from the gap of his door, she found it’s a kind of enjoying, she got peace in her heart.
One night, he stayed very late. She did not often go to his office uncalled, always just waiting for things she could help. Till nearly 11:00 pm she felt it’s unusual, he often worked late, but not so late, never as she knew.
She opened his door silently and went to his seat neatly.
The sight she saw surprised her.
Lance fell asleep silently on his chair, so peaceful and so innocent, like a child, his bronze skin was shining with glamour in the yellow rays of lights, long eyelash covered his eyelid, drop shadow on his face, innocent like a newborn baby, give him the fragile air, the perfect feature on his face was so charming, she moved her finger from his full forehead to his eyes, along his high nose, stopped on his sexy lips, the feature was as perfect as ancient roman statuary, the profile of him was so enchanting, she was bewildered.
He was so lovely when he was sleeping.
She put a piece of her coat on him, and then slipped out like a child who stole candy from her mom’s pocket.
